About Us

POWWE’R ry was founded in 2002 out of the need to seek alternative means of bringing about genuine intercultural dialogue between ethnic minorities and the mainstream society.

Cooperation and Development

POWWE'R currently has a 5 member working board and a large network of volunteers. We also work with other organisations, cultural institutions and local businesses.

We have organized exchange and study visits with Project Alert dedicated to the protection of Women against Family Violence in Nigeria. In 2009, development cooperation with Hiari Orphanage Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was commenced under The Queen of Hearts Development Initiative.
