Media POWWE'R

Under our Media POWWE’R project, we offer training for people interested in media work. Our objective is to make the voice of minorities heard in the Finnish mainstream press. The project is also aimed at distributing information on current issues and projects affecting the international community in Finland.

Information to International Audiences

We produce CONTACT, an English language radio magazine show airing weekly in the greater capital area on Lähiradio network 100.3 FM. The topics range from socio-cultural issues to human interest stories. Don't forget to tune in on Wednesdays at 21:30!

Currently POWWE'R also cooperates with African Independent Television/DAAR Communications in producing short life style segments describing the Northern European way of life.

Make Your Voice Heard

Media POWWE'R is also designed to give young people a chance to make their voices heard.
